    Our Project Manager will lead projects from inception to close while working alongside environmental supervisors and technicians as team leaders. PMs are the main point of contact for our customer, subcontractors and team members and serve as liaison to Operations Coordinators.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities / Job Duties:

    • Assist in establishing project scope and budget. Responsible for communicating project scope and plan to team members, as applicable. Procure assets as needed to ensure project is completed in a timely manner within budget.
    • Setup jobs in Connect (except North Canton), provide written job summaries, waste labeling, hours reporting and expense tracking. 
    • Responsible for managing a client base of new and existing customers.
    • Monitor site services to ensure that operations are safe and legal. Follow the EnviroServe SOGs and provide feedback of suggested changes when necessary.
    • Monitor response times and look for efficiencies on scheduling projects and waste runs.
    • Develop relationships with fire departments and local emergency planning committees and participate in the business development ER program.
    • Coach team members to continually improve project documentation through the collection of professional project notes and pictures
    • Mentor, monitor, and enforce compliance with established policy and be alert for opportunities and suggestions which support continuous improvement.
    • Review invoices to ensure that the project is invoiced correctly.  Assist with collection activities as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    Requirements

    • Must be committed to a flexible work schedule and extended workdays.
    • Must exude a strong personal and professional integrity.
    • Must have superior documentation, communication (both verbal and written), computer and application skills, and have a “whatever it takes” mentality.
    • Must be able to read and write, and communicate in English.
    • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.
    • Must have knowledge of EPA, RCRA, DOT and OSHA regulations and regular industry practices.

     

    Education/Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution
    • 5+ years relative field experience (or combination of education and experience)
    • 5 years of equivalent managerial experience in the environmental industry
    • 40-hr HAZWOPER certification (with current 8-hr Refresher)
    • Valid Commercial Drivers License with CDL-A with X endorsement preferred
